Skinny dippers bared all at Loch Ness on Sunday 3rd November as part of the inaugural Loch and Land Festival.

Organised by Visit Inverness Loch Ness (VILN), the festival was launched to celebrate the abundant natural beauty and multitude of outdoor activities that Inverness and Loch Ness has to offer.

The Loch Ness Sunrise Skinny Dip was the finale of a packed festival programme which kicked off on 25th October.

Events ranged from climbing, yoga, archery, sea kayaking, whitewater sledging, fly fishing and axe throwing, to tours, cruises, litter picks, speaker events, wood carving and wild swimming.

The skinny dip was run by In Your Element, with a portion of the entry fee going to Trees for Life.

As part of the event, participants could also try yoga by the shore, give axe throwing and archery a go, warm up in a rural sauna and grab a bargain at an end-of-season outdoor equipment sale.
