Suppliers Invited to Inaugural Highland Registrars’ Wedding Fair

Suppliers working in the wedding market are being invited by Highland Registrars to a newly established Wedding Fair.

The Highland Wedding Fair will take place on Sunday 4 February 2024 with public access from 11.00am – 3.00pm (suppliers will have access from 8:30am)

Highland Council’s Chief Registrar, Lesley Gray says:

“We are delighted to host our first Wedding Fair and are pleased to offer suppliers a table at this exciting new event being held at the Highland Archive and Registration Centre in Inverness.”

She explained:

“All couples, regardless of whether they choose a Registrar to conduct their ceremony, do have to contact the Registration Office for the legal preliminaries to marriage, so we hope to attract plenty of interest.  

“We are confident in attracting a wide range of suppliers to the Wedding Fair to kick start what looks like will be another busy year for weddings in the Highlands!”

Ground floor space within the bespoke Highland Archive and Registration Centre will be the location of the Wedding Fair within the two large ceremony suites, and main foyer.

Facilities for attending suppliers will include excellent free parking and ease of access for loading and unloading; level access throughout with free guest WIFI; and some stall spaces with power points.

The Highland Archive and Registration Centre is located on Bught Road, Inverness IV3 5SS.

Access for the public to the Wedding Fair on Sunday 4 February 2024 will be free.
