AMCOGiffen, have been carrying out engineering works, on behalf of Scottish Canals, on Gairlochy Swing Bridge over the past few months and to complete the works, a Temporary Closure of the bridge has been agreed to minimise disruption to the local community.
The temporary closure will be in operation for 2 nights commencing Sunday 20 June from 00:01 to 05:00 and Monday 21 June from 00:01 to 05:00.
An amnesty will be held at 02:30 each night to allow any waiting traffic to cross the bridge if required.
There will be 2 diversion routes, one from the A82 Commando Memorial Junction serving access to properties on the south easterly side of the bridge and one from the A830 Banavie Junction service access to properties on the north west side of the bridge.
