Drivers using the A9 between Jubilee Bridge and Ballinluig are being advised to prepare for changes, with temporary traffic measures being introduced to support ongoing dualling works.
The changes include the construction of a temporary roundabout at Kindallachan, designed to manage traffic flow and provide safe access during the next phase of the project.
The roundabout is expected to become operational on 1 May 2026, at which point all traffic on the A9 will pass through it.
A reduced speed limit of 30mph will be introduced on approach to and from the roundabout, with drivers urged to take extra care as layouts change.
The temporary arrangement will also provide access to Kindallachan and allow construction traffic to move safely to and from the main site compound.
Road users are being warned to expect new signage, altered layouts and changes to access in the area over the coming weeks.
Bus services will also be affected, with the southbound bus stop at Kindallachan set to move slightly north of its current position from 10 April.
Pedestrian access to the stop will be maintained throughout, with clear signage in place to guide passengers.
Additional safety measures are being introduced, including a pelican crossing at the temporary roundabout to allow pedestrians to cross safely.
Emergency access will remain in place at all times during the works.
The project forms part of the wider A9 dualling programme, which aims to improve safety and connectivity along one of Scotland’s most important transport routes.
Drivers are being advised to allow extra time for journeys and to remain alert as work progresses.
