Temporary Traffic Signals on The A9 – Tomatin to Moy

Transport Scotland is advising A9 road users to drive with care on approach to the section between Tomatin and Moy as temporary traffic signals will be in place for approximately 5 weeks to allow further ground investigation works on the verges of the northbound and southbound carriageways to be undertaken.

To ensure the safety of road users and operatives during these operations temporary two-way traffic signals will be in place on the A9 from Monday 25 April for approximately 5 weeks at the following locations:

north of Moy junction

near Lynebeg

south of Tomatin North junction.

Due to the nature of the works the exact location of the signals may vary.

The temporary signals are expected to be in place full time during this period, however, may be removed as works allow.

As traffic management will change during the 5-week period, road users are asked to take care on approach to the works area and to follow all temporary signage in place.

This ground investigation is part of preparatory works ahead of the A9 Dualling: Tomatin to Moy Project.
