Tim Peake knows what it is to look back at Earth from the silence of space.

One of fewer than 650 people to have reached Earth’s orbit, he has lived the dream of generations and now he is inviting audiences to share the journey.

His new tour, Astronauts: The Quest to Explore Space, will chart the human story of space exploration from the first tentative launches of the 1950s to the upcoming missions that will carry astronauts towards Mars.

Tim has already captivated sell-out audiences with tales from his own career, blending personal stories with extraordinary archive footage, but this time he will turn the spotlight on some of the remarkable men and women he has trained and flown alongside.

It will be a night of awe and discovery, revealing what life is really like in orbit, the beauty of our planet seen from 250 miles above, the challenge of living in weightlessness, the danger that is always present and the unexpected moments of humour that keep spirits high.

He will also take audiences behind the scenes, into the years of training, the mental resilience and the physical preparation needed to become an astronaut.

“Space has the capacity to inspire and fascinate people of all ages,” Tim said.

“It’s an honour to be able to share these unique experiences, which have forever changed how we look at the universe.”

Following the success of his 2024 tour, new venues have been added for autumn 2025, including two special nights at Eden Court in Inverness on 1 and 2 September.

For those who have ever looked up at the night sky and wondered what it might be like to leave Earth, Tim’s storytelling offers something truly rare, the perspective of someone who has been there.
