Quarter-Final Draw 9th July 2022

  1. Kyles Athletic vs Glasgow Mid Argyll
  2. Skye vs Kingussie
  3. Kinlochshiel vs Oban Camanachd
  4. Lovat vs Kilmallie/Inveraray

Derek Keir, Camanachd Association CEO said:

“It was great to meet up with our friends at Tulloch Homes this afternoon to conduct the quarter-final draw for the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup.

“This year is set to be one of the biggest incarnations of the Camanachd Cup Final and our thanks go to Kingussie Camanachd Club for the work they and the local community are putting into this year’s final.

“We look forward to welcoming the whole community to shinty’s showpiece event!”

Tulloch Homes Managing Director Sandy Grant said:

“The Dell, one of the game’s historic venues, was the ideal place to host this intriguing ballot.

“These ties will produce the last four teams vying for the right to play at The Dell in September’s Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Final.

“The final, the Blue Riband event in the shinty calendar, will be played at Kingussie for the first time in 37 years and it should be a real crowd-puller, particularly with the music and other features the Kingussie club have worked so hard to arrange.

“There’s a special buzz about shinty just now in this post-pandemic season and three or four of the quarter finalists will genuinely fancy their chances of Camanachd glory.

“There should be plenty of drama and entertainment before we discover who makes the final.

“This is the 126th year since the first Camanachd final and Tulloch’s 97th year, so we’re delighted once again to sponsor the competition and continue our close and successful liaison with president Steven MacKenzie, chief executive Derek Keir, and the Camanachd Association board.”
