Motorists in Dingwall are being warned to expect disruption later this month as two local roads are scheduled to close for more than a week.
George Street and Fraser Road will be shut from 8am on Wednesday, August 20 until 5pm on Friday, August 29 to allow resurfacing work to take place.
On Fraser Road, the closure will stretch from its junction with Old Evanton Road to the junction with Bruce Avenue.
The Highland Council has confirmed that diversion routes will be signposted for drivers.
However, for George Street, the council has said there will be no alternative route available during the works.
