On Monday the 30 May 2022, Bualnaluib, Gairloch, Kinlochewe, Poolewe and Shieldaig primary schools joyfully gathered together at Flowerdale in Gairloch, to take part in their annual Cross Country Event.

Poolewe Primary and Bualnaluib Primary School Head Teacher, Natalie White said:

“It has been so good to see the children from across the ASG all having fun together in such a beautiful setting.”

The first annual Cross Country Event since 2019, energy was abundant, spirits were high, and smiles were everywhere!

All of the participants are to be congratulated, a great effort was made by all and you made everyone very proud.

The overall school winners were Bualnaluib Primary, who took the shield home until next year’s event.

Thank you’s were also given to all the teachers, pupils, parents, volunteer marshals, and to the MacKenzies of Gairloch Estate; the event would not have been possible without their support.
