The Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) has announced details of 12 more William Hill Premiership matches selected for live broadcast.
A total of eight games have been chosen by Sky Sports between the end of October and early January, with four matches to be shown on Premier Sports.
This announcement means TV selections in the William Hill Premiership have now been confirmed up to, and including, Thursday January 2, with the exception of the weekend of December 14/15.
Any broadcast selections for that fixture round will be made after the semi-finals of the Premier Sports Cup on November 2/3.
The latest batch of live TV games begins with Sky Sports’ coverage of Aberdeen v Rangers on Wednesday October 30, kick-off 8.00pm.
Sky’s other selections include Heart of Midlothian v Celtic on the evening of Saturday November 23, with the Sunday slot unavailable because of the Scotland v Australia Autumn Test at Murrayfield.
Sky will also show Dundee v Rangers – postponed on Saturday November 2 due to the Premier Sports Cup – on Thursday January 9, kick-off 8.00pm.
As a result, Rangers v St Johnstone moves to Sunday January 12, while Kilmarnock and Dundee have brought forward their Saturday January 11 fixture to Sunday November 3.
Premier Sports’ selections include Rangers v Heart of Midlothian on Sunday November 10 at 5.00pm and Heart of Midlothian v Aberdeen on Sunday December 1 at 3.00pm.
The list of fixture amendments also includes rescheduled dates for the other games postponed on Premier Sports Cup semi-final weekend while Aberdeen and Dundee have agreed a 5.30pm kick-off for their meeting at Pittodrie on Saturday November 9.
The latest live broadcast selections for the William Hill Championship (BBC Scotland) and William Hill League 1 (BBC ALBA) will be published later this week.
SPFL Chief Operating Officer Calum Beattie:
“We are delighted to announce the latest William Hill Premiership matches to be shown exclusively live on Sky Sports and Premier Sports, with so many big games to look forward to in the weeks and months ahead.
“It’s an exciting time for Scottish football and we are pleased to be able to showcase the best of our game with more live TV matches than ever before.”
