Aston Martin and Brough Superior have taken their remarkable partnership onto public roads with the unveiling of the AMB 002 Roadster.
Revealed on Wednesday, 9 September, the spectacular new machine is the first road legal motorcycle created by the two historic British performance brands and production will be limited to just 300 examples.
It follows the track only AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro superbikes introduced in 2019 and 2022, but this time the ambition is to create something its owner can actually take out onto the road.
And it is quite a motorcycle.
At its heart is an entirely new 1083cc water cooled V Twin engine producing 130bhp and 110 Nm of torque, developed to deliver strong performance through the low and middle of the rev range before building towards the top end.
The whole motorcycle weighs just 190kg, with its lightweight construction centred around an extraordinary titanium frame weighing only 5kg.
Milled from a solid billet, the frame forms the structural spine of the motorcycle and helps the AMB 002 achieve a 50:50 weight distribution.
Carbon fibre is used extensively for the bodywork and fuel tank, helping to lower the centre of gravity and giving the machine the balance and agility expected of something carrying two such celebrated names.
The Aston Martin influence is unmistakable, with its designers borrowing details from some of the company’s most dramatic cars.
The famous Aston Martin side strake has been reimagined around the fairing and headlamp, while twin oval exhausts take inspiration from the Vanquish, DB12 S and DBX S.
At the rear, blades of light echo the designs found on the Vulcan, Valkyrie and Valhalla.
Brough Superior brings some serious motorcycle engineering to the partnership, including its distinctive double wishbone Fior front suspension, designed to separate steering and braking forces while providing stability under hard braking and through fast corners.
The engine itself is designed, machined and assembled at Brough Superior’s headquarters in Toulouse, with CNC machined billet engine cases and aerospace grade materials contributing to a machine being built very differently from a conventional production motorcycle.

Orders are now being taken for the 300 individually built AMB 002 Roadsters, with the first deliveries scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027.
