Belladrum, Scotland’s most cherished family music festival, has just unveiled its first headliners for the 2025 edition—and it’s shaping up to be one unforgettable weekend.

With Texas topping the bill as Saturday’s headliner, fans can look forward to seeing one of Scotland’s most beloved bands take centre stage, filling the Highland air with nostalgia and hit after hit.

Texas’s return to Belladrum is a long-awaited one, last appearing in 2011, and this iconic band, fronted by the unmistakable Sharleen Spiteri, has only grown in their ability to captivate audiences.

With over 40 million albums sold worldwide and a recent sold-out UK tour, Texas promises to deliver a live show that will have fans singing along to classics like I Don’t Want a LoverSay What You Want, and Inner Smile, alongside recent hits Mr Haze and Keep on Talking.

Belladrum is also thrilled to welcome the legendary Paul Heaton as the Thursday night headliner.

Known for his work with The Housemartins, The Beautiful South, and his recent collaborations with Jacqui Abbott, Heaton’s music has been part of the UK soundtrack for decades.

After receiving a prestigious Ivor Novello Award in 2022 for his outstanding song collection, Heaton will bring hits like Happy HourA Little Time, and Rotterdam to Bella, joined on stage by Scottish singer Rianne Downey for an evening of unmissable music.

Dance music fans will be buzzing as Example brings his infectious energy and chart-toppers like Changed the Way You Kiss Me and Kickstarts to the Belladrum stage, promising a night of dance bangers under the Highland sky.

Other festival highlights include Glasgow’s folk-pop favourites Tide Lines, indie-rockers The Pigeon Detectives, and storytelling folk artist Karine Polwart, each bringing something unique to Bella’s diverse musical lineup.

Festival producer Dougie Brown expressed his excitement, saying:

“We’re thrilled to bring you these incredible acts, guaranteeing some of the biggest singalong moments in Bella’s history.

“Texas and Paul Heaton will make sure of that, and there’s so much more still to come!”

Rounding out the weekend, fans can enjoy a lineup that celebrates both legendary acts and rising stars.

Expect to see Colonel Mustard & the Dijon 5, Kassidy, Dreadzone, Torridon, Toby Lee, and many more, including the ever-eclectic Crazy World of Arthur Brown.

From alternative rock to traditional Highland folk, the Bella experience is back, blending homegrown talent with international artists across multiple stages.

Tickets are already selling fast, with Belladrum introducing a new youth ticket and payment plans to make the festival accessible to all.
