Premier Sports has announced it will broadcast Celtic’s pre-season clash with Cork City live on Tuesday 8 July, kicking off at 6pm.

The one-off friendly, dubbed the Cork Super Cup, will be held at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh and brings together the Scottish champions and the three-time Irish Premier Division winners for a unique summer fixture.

Commentary on the night will come from Rory Hamilton and Kenny Cunningham.

The match kicks off a packed month of live football on Premier Sports, with 30 Premier Sports Cup group stage matches scheduled across July.

Coverage begins on Saturday 12 July with Hearts taking on Dunfermline at 5.15pm in a tie that sees Derek McInnes’ new-look side face off against Neil Lennon’s Dunfermline Athletic.

The channel’s football offering is only getting bigger.

Following an expanded five-year deal with the SPFL, Premier Sports will now show 22 live Scottish Premiership matches each season, including key post-split ties.

Scottish Premiership coverage begins on Saturday 9 August when Rangers host Dundee at Ibrox, with Russell Martin and Steven Pressley going head to head.

Premier Sports is available in the UK via Sky (channels 419 and 420), Virgin Media (551 and 552), STV Player, and as an add-on subscription on Amazon Prime.

The channel also streams online via its app on a wide range of devices, including phones, tablets, smart TVs, and desktops.

It is also available to watch in thousands of pubs, clubs, and hotels across the country through a commercial subscription.

Fans can look forward to a summer packed with Scottish football, live and exclusive.
