Celtic’s Dublin Friendly Against Shelbourne to be Shown Live on Premier Sports

Celtic’s preparations for the new season continue next week with a summer friendly against Shelbourne in Dublin, with the match set to be shown live on Premier Sports.

The Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup winners travel to Tolka Park on Tuesday 7 July for a meeting with the League of Ireland side.

Kick off is scheduled for 6pm and coverage will be shown on Premier Sports 1.

The Glasgow club completed another successful domestic campaign last season, securing the Premiership title before lifting the Scottish Cup with a 3-1 victory over Dunfermline Athletic at Hampden Park.

Shelbourne also enjoyed a strong campaign, finishing third in the League of Ireland standings and earning a place in the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round.

The Dublin side are preparing for European action later this month and will see the visit of Celtic as an important part of their pre season schedule.

For Celtic supporters, the fixture offers an early opportunity to see the squad back in action ahead of the defence of their domestic honours and another European campaign.

Premier Sports has confirmed it will broadcast the match live from Tolka Park, giving fans across Scotland and Ireland the chance to follow proceedings.

The channel is available through Sky, Virgin Media, Amazon Prime Video and a range of streaming platforms and smart devices.

Pre season fixtures often provide the first glimpse of new signings, emerging talent and tactical adjustments before the competitive campaign begins, and supporters will be hoping for another positive season following last year’s domestic double.
