After a total sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2023 and 2024, CMB takes his smash hit show Scary Times out on tour…Scary Times indeed!
Featuring routines and jokes on such topics as Edinburgh Zoo, going for a walk, and the collapse of the British state.
As seen on Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, Comedy Central Live and his debut special ‘Oh No’.
CMB is one third of the chart topping comedy podcast Here Comes the Guillotine alongside Frankie Boyle and Susie McCabe and co-hosts the cult-favourite pod, Enjoy An Album.
The world is a scary place, so here’s some normal good observational comedy for people who wake up screaming sometimes.
Christopher Macarthur-Boyd has jokes on everything: zoos, going for a walk, and the collapse of the British state.
Everything’s more expensive, everything’s slightly worse, the future is not bright – we are living in scary times.
Last year, as well as appearing on Frankie Boyle’s New World Order on BBC Two, Christopher was the host of an episode of the BBC New Comedy Award 2022 alongside Josie Long and Fern Brady.
He also wrote for Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Dave’s Late Night Mash.
He is a constant presence on BBC Scotland according to people who approach him in the street, featuring on Edinburgh Unlocked, Breaking The News, and Ooh The Banter! as part of the channel’s Hogmanay coverage.
He was also featured as part of Channel 4’s digital comedy series Jokes Only A… Can Tell.
Christopher has been live support across the U.K. for the likes of Frankie Boyle, Susie McCabe, Jason Manford, Russell Kane, Shane Todd, Shane Gillis, Victor Patrascan, Ellie Taylor, Dane Baptiste, Marc Jennings, Colin Hoult, Chris Ramsay, Jack Dee, Des Clarke, and Abandoman.
