“Tha maoineachadh a bharrachd air a thoirt seachad le Riaghaltas na h-Alba, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Comhairle na Gàidhealtachd, Leasachadh Sgilean na h-Alba, Stòrlann Nàiseanta na Gàidhlig agus Comhairle Baile Ghlaschu agus Bòrd na Gàidhlig.”

“Tha an cuireadh a bhith an làthair aig a’ chèilidh fosgailte do dhuine sam bith a tha air a bhith an sàs anns an Deasbad thar nam bliadhnaichean; iar-fharpaisich, britheamhan, buill chomataidh agus gu dearbh am poball a tha air taic a thoirt don tachartas.
“Bu mhath leam cuideachd an cothrom seo a ghabhail airson taing a thoirt chan ann a-mhàin don luchd-maoineachaidh a tha air a bhith againn bhon a thòisich an fharpais ann an 1999 ach iadsan a bha nam buill den chomataidh agus luchd-obrach sgoiltean air feadh nan eilean, agus nas fhaide air falbh, a bha air leth cudromach ann an soirbheachas na farpais chliùiteach seo.
“Thathar an dùil gur e oidhche shònraichte a bhios ann agus tha sinn an dòchas gum faic sinn na h-uimhir de dhaoine ann agus as urrainn dhuinn.”
