Warm up for the FIFA World Cup final starts early on Sunday 19th July, as the Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC squad will be meeting football fans for an exclusive event at An Talla at Dochgarroch.
As part of an ongoing collaboration with Jacobite Loch Ness Cruises, the ICTFC players will be signing autographs and posing for photos with fans from 1pm to 2pm, and unveiling the club’s new kit.
ICTFC’s new home and away kits, complete with Nessie image on the inside collar, will be available to purchase at An Talla from Sunday, the only other retailer of the kits outside the club shop and website.
Additionally, attendees at the event will be able to take part in prize draws with ICTFC family tickets, signed footballs, Jacobite family tickets, Jacobite tartan plush toy and An Talla vouchers up for grabs.
“It’s been great to see everyone getting involved and excited about the World Cup, with the Tartan Army representing us so well across the Atlantic, so we are delighted to host this exclusive event with our own footballing heroes,” explains Alan Rawlinson, Business Development Manager at Jacobite Loch Ness Cruises.
Jacobite Loch Ness Cruises’ partnership with ICTFC kicked off in 2025 with the launch of ICTFC’s new mascots, Nessie and Nessa, aboard a Jacobite boat.
Since then, it has been a perfect match, with initiatives including discounted ICTFC match tickets for Jacobite customers, discounts on Jacobite cruises for all ICTFC season ticket holders, kids’ goodie bag giveaways at games and even Jacobite mascot, Jacobite Jess, attending an ICTFC match.
Andrew Benjamin, Commercial Director at Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC, said:
“Our partnership with Jacobite Loch Ness Cruises has been a major boost to ICTFC’s international visibility.
“With tens of thousands of tourists from around the world sailing on Jacobite’s iconic Loch Ness cruises each year, our club has been showcased to a global audience.
“This meet and greet event is an exciting opportunity for players to meet local fans and hopefully gain some new ones from further afield too and it’s only fitting that it takes place on the day of the World Cup Final!”
Alan Rawlinson continues:
“We look forward to welcoming the ICTFC squad and football fans on Sunday as the perfect warm up to the World Cup Final, let’s show New York how it’s done at Loch Ness!”
The event takes place from 1pm to 2pm on Sunday 19th July under the stretch tent at An Talla, Dochgarroch.
