Funding for Longman Park

The Highland Council has welcomed funding awards from Scottish Government Gypsy/Traveller Accommodation Fund and the low carbon Vacant & Derelict Land Investment Programme (VDLIP).

Inverness City Provost and Housing and Property Chair, Cllr Glynis Sinclair said:

“The Highland Council welcomes the major funding announcement made by the Scottish Government from the Gypsy/Traveller Accommodation Fund and the low carbon Vacant & Derelict Land Investment Programme (VDLIP).

“The funding will enable the Council to improve key Highland facilities to the standards we aim to provide for all Council tenants.

“The overarching aim is to improve the lives of those wishing to stay at Longman Park and deliver on our ‘Fairer Highland’ commitments.”
