Police Scotland is appealing for help to trace 33 year old Dennis Sinsheimer, who has been reported missing from the Fort William area.

Dennis was last seen on the B8004 in Banavie, north of Fort William, at around 9.45am on Tuesday 29 September.

Officers say they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are asking anyone who may have seen him to come forward.

Dennis is described as 5ft 11ins tall, of slim build, with dark coloured hair and a beard.

He is from Dunoon and is known to regularly visit the Aberdeen area.

Police say Dennis also regularly uses public transport, and information from anyone who may have seen him travelling could help officers establish his movements.

Inspector Craig Johnstone said:

“We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Dennis and are appealing to anyone who may have seen him or knows where he is to get in touch.

“He is from Dunoon and often frequents the Aberdeen area. He is also known to use public transport regularly.”

Anyone with information about Dennis or his whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1678 of 29 September 2026.
