Inverness Caley Thistle Set for Fresh Start as Exit from Administration Approved

There is a new dawn breaking for Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC as the club prepares to emerge from administration following the approval of a Company Voluntary Arrangement.

Creditors and members of the club gathered this week to consider the CVA proposals, which were based on a rescue offer from local businessman Alan Savage.

Both groups voted in favour, paving the way for the club to secure its place in League One and begin a new chapter.

The decision means that while the club will continue to operate under the terms of the CVA for a short time, its long-term future now looks far brighter.

Alan Savage and his team will take the reins during this transitional period, with the process expected to conclude in early July once final costs are settled and creditors are paid.

James Stephen, partner at BDO and one of the Joint Administrators, welcomed the outcome.

He said:

“We are very grateful to everyone who helped us reach this point, especially Alan and his team and the dedicated staff at the club.”

He also paid tribute to the loyal supporters who have stood by the team throughout a turbulent period.

“We would like to thank the fans for their patience and unwavering support.

“We now look forward to the final stages of the process and to seeing the club move forward.”

The approval of the CVA marks an important milestone for Inverness Caley Thistle.

It follows months of uncertainty after the club was placed into administration earlier this year.

Since then, supporters, staff and local backers have rallied behind efforts to secure the future of the Highland club.

Now, with a committed new owner in place and a plan agreed with creditors, there is fresh hope that Inverness Caley Thistle can rebuild and thrive once again.

The focus will soon turn back to football, with preparations for the new season already under way.

Supporters can now look ahead with renewed optimism as their beloved club prepares to move forward, both on and off the pitch.
