On behalf of Transport Scotland, BEAR Scotland will be carrying out road surface improvements worth £43,000 on the A9 at Glenmorangie, just south of Dornoch Bridge, on Sunday 6August.
For the safety of the workforce and road users, there will be two-way temporary traffic lights and a 10mph convoy system between 7pm and 7am.
Consultation has taken place with all relevant stakeholders in advance of the resurfacing works to make them aware of the traffic management arrangements.
Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative, said:
“These maintenance works on the A9 at Glenmorangie will help address defects and greatly improve the surface for road users.
“We thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete this project.
“We encourage motorists to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
