It was good news for locals and visitors alike recently when The Allangrange (formally known as Allangrange Arms) based in Munlochy, reopened with plans being made to bring it back to its true spirit and former glory.
The favourite has always been popular for with locals and tourists as they explore the popular NC500.
The Allangrange has vowed to support the local supply chain as much as possible with their local menu offering.
John Lockhart who has relaunched The Allangrange stated:
“Throughout my business background, local produce has always been important to me.
“We live in a fantastic area of the world with top quality products available on our doorstep.
“Supporting local and showcasing what the area has to offer will always remain at the top of my priority list – it is the least we can do to support other businesses during this time.”
John has also vowed to invest in the team – with staff currently receiving training and mentorship.
Just recently, Carola Leese completed her SCQF level 7 as well as her personal license training and local Event Management graduate Andrew Gill has taken on role as Manager.
Andrew enthused:
“I am excited to have been given the opportunity for involvement with the Allangrange and to work underneath John– this is a fantastic opportunity for me to continue on my learning journey and one that I am excited to get stuck in to and embrace with both hands!”
John urges all locals to come and support The Allangrange by trying out their new menu, including home-made burgers using quality meat from Culloden based A&I butchers – customers visiting on Wednesdays can even enjoy a buy one, get one half price offer across the burger range.
