New Bowling Alley Set to Roll into Inverness This March

Inverness’ brand-new ten-pin bowling alley is set to launch on March 29th, bringing fresh entertainment options to the city.

Hollywood Bowl, a £3.1 million venue, will officially open in the former Sports Direct building on Eastfield Way.

The highly anticipated addition has been in development for months, with locals closely following its progress.

Now, with the grand opening just weeks away, and excitement is building.

This latest leisure spot is part of a broader revival for the building, which previously housed both Sports Direct and Everlast Gym.

Another portion of the site is already up and running following the opening of Innoflate, an inflatable indoor play park that welcomed visitors in October.

Hollywood Bowl is expected to create jobs and enhance the city’s entertainment scene, but its arrival hasn’t been without controversy.

Some question whether Inverness can support two bowling alleys, as the city is already home to Rollerbowl in Culduthel.

The existing alley’s owner has expressed concerns that the competition could impact business and put jobs at risk.

Despite the debate, Hollywood Bowl’s launch is set to bring a new social hub to Inverness, offering another place for families, friends, and bowling enthusiasts to gather and enjoy.
