Drivers using the A9 near Kindallachan are being advised to expect overnight delays next week as essential works continue on the A9 Dualling programme.

Temporary traffic signals will be in place on the northbound carriageway north of Kindallachan on the evening of Monday 3 August to allow utility diversion works to be carried out safely as part of the Tay Crossing to Ballinluig section of the project.

The traffic management will be in operation from 7pm on Monday until 6am on Tuesday morning.

The overnight measures are required to protect both road users and the workforce while the utility diversion works are completed.

Motorists are being asked to approach the area with care and allow extra time for their journeys, as some delays are expected while the temporary traffic signals are in operation.

The works form part of the ongoing A9 Dualling programme, which is designed to improve safety and reliability on one of Scotland’s busiest trunk roads.

Project organisers said the overnight timing has been chosen to minimise disruption and thanked motorists for their patience while the essential work is carried out.
