Police Scotland is appealing for the public’s help to find a 22 year old man who has been missing from Argyll for a week, with growing concerns for his safety and wellbeing.

Leo Roberts was last seen getting off the number 926 Glasgow to Campbeltown bus in Clachan at around 9.30pm on Sunday 1 November 2026.

He was reported missing to police on Wednesday 4 November after failing to make contact with his family.

Officers say his disappearance is completely out of character, and his family are increasingly worried about his welfare.

Leo is described as approximately 6ft tall, with a slim build, broad shoulders, tanned skin and short dark hair.

When he was last seen, he was wearing a long green parka style jacket.

Police are asking anyone who was travelling through Clachan on the evening of Sunday 1 November, or who may have seen someone matching Leo’s description, to come forward.

Inspector Gav McDevitt said:

“It is out of character for Leo to not be in touch with his family for this long and there are real concerns for his wellbeing.

“We would ask anyone with any information his whereabouts to come forward as soon as possible.

“If Leo sees this appeal himself, we urge him to get in touch with police or his family.”

Officers are particularly keen to establish Leo’s movements after he left the bus in Clachan, and any information about possible sightings could help their enquiries.

Anyone who has seen Leo or has information that could assist police is asked to telephone 101, quoting incident number 3628 of 4 November 2026.

Police are also encouraging Leo himself to make contact with either his family or officers to confirm that he is safe.
