Police Scotland Traffic Operation – Grantown On Spey

Over the past weekend, 30/10 and 31/10, a traffic operation took place in and around the Grantown On Spey area.

The operation followed concerns raised by local residents regarding manner of driving around the town.

Commenting Inspector for Aviemore, Vince Tough, said:

“Concerns had been highlighted by the local community in response to incidents of careless and inconsiderate driving within the town.

“To address this, we conducted a pro-active enforcement operation within the area.

“As a result, several Road Traffic Anti-Social Behaviour Orders were issued.

“In addition, there are enquiries ongoing to charge others due to the careless, inconsiderate use of their vehicles.

“Driving in this manner will not be tolerated by Police or the local community.”
