An evening of bonfire fun and spectacular fireworks is planned for everyone in Inverness and area on Saturday 5 November 2022!

The family-friendly Bonfire Night and Fireworks Display takes place at the Bught Park in Inverness, beginning at 5pm, with a funfair on site and many food stalls for tasty treats.

Local businesses, including Redshank, The Treat Truck, Ness Highland Catering, Ollies Pops and Heilan Brew, will be serving food and non-alcoholic drinks at the event.

The excitement will build with the lighting of the bonfire at 5.45pm, followed by the firework display beginning at 6.30pm.

Please dress appropriately for the weather when attending Saturday’s event, ensuring you wear warm clothing and have suitable footwear for walking on uneven ground.

Visitors to the site are requested to stay within the areas marked for safe viewing and to follow the instructions of the announcer and stewards on site.

The event will close at 7pm.

No tickets are required for the free event.

If you have any special requirements or mobility issues, please contact info@highlifehighland.com by 2pm on Friday 4 November.

Parking for Blue Badge holders is available at Bught Stadium: follow the signs for Torvean Avenue to the Blue Badge parking area.

Visitors are advised to ‘park and walk’ or ‘park and ride’ in order to attend the display.

Limited parking will be available at Torvean car park and public buses also serve the area – please check with Stagecoach for an up to date timetable.

Parking for the event is restricted due to temporary road closures in place at Bught Road and Bught Drive.

Visitors are asked to respect those who live in the area and are urged not to park in the residential areas near to the venue.

Organisers are reminding those coming along that, for safety reasons, no flammable objects or liquids are allowed to be brought into the event area.

This includes items such as fireworks or sparklers.

No alcohol will be permitted within the event area.

All pets should be left at home.

The Bonfire Night and Fireworks Display is one of a series of experiences presented by Highland Council’s Inverness Events and Festivals Working Group which is financially supported by the Inverness Common Good Fund.
