RTC Bridge Street Inverness

Appeal for witnesses following a two-vehicle road traffic collision which happened on Bridge Street in Inverness at around 8.08am this morning, Monday, 18 May.

A police vehicle and a Toyota Hi Lux were involved in the collision.

The male driver of the police vehicle was taken to Raigmore Hospital to be checked over however has now been released.

The male driver of the Toyota was uninjured.

The road at the scene was closed for a short time.

Commenting Sergeant Alasdair Mackay of the Divisional Road Policing Unit said:

“Anyone who may have witnessed this collision is asked to call us on the 101 number, and should quote the reference number 0528 of 18 May, 2020.

“Anyone who may have captured this crash on their dash-can system is also asked to call us on the 101 number.”
