The Fourth Round of the Scottish Gas Men’s Scottish Cup promises a weekend packed with action, as Premier Sports broadcasts three highly anticipated matches live.
The action begins on Saturday evening when Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic take on Derek McInnes’ Kilmarnock at Celtic Park in a clash of Premiership sides.
When the two teams met in the league in November, Celtic secured a 2-0 victory, courtesy of goals from Callum McGregor and Nicolas Kuhn, and they’ll aim to repeat that performance as they defend their title.
Kick-off is at 6pm, with build-up starting at 5.30pm, as presenter Emma Dodds hosts the coverage alongside Martin O’Neill and Alan Hutton, with Rory Hamilton and Michael Stewart on commentary.
On Sunday, the focus shifts to the Falkirk Stadium as Championship high-flyers Falkirk face fellow second-tier side Raith Rovers in a midday showdown.
John McGlynn’s Falkirk side have enjoyed a stellar season, including a memorable victory over Hearts in the Premier Sports Cup, while Barry Robson’s Raith will be looking to recover from their recent 3-0 league loss to Ayr United.
Coverage starts at 11.30am on Premier Sports 2, with Marvin Bartley and Michael Stewart providing expert analysis, Rory Hamilton on commentary, and Amy Irons delivering pitchside updates.
The weekend wraps up on Monday night under the floodlights at Dens Park, where Dundee and Dundee United face off in a much-anticipated Dundee Derby.
The two sides delivered fireworks in their New Year derby, with United coming from behind to secure a 2-1 win, and fans can expect more drama as both sides push for a place in the fifth round.
Kick-off is at 8pm, with Emma Dodds joined by Charlie Mulgrew, Alan Hutton, and Callum Davidson in the studio, while Rory Hamilton and Michael Stewart provide live commentary, and Connie McLaughlin reports from pitchside.
