Traffic will be temporarily prohibited from using the A839 Lairg to Rosehall road from 9am on 9 November 2020 until 5pm on 18 December.
The A838 Lairg to Rosehall road will be closed between its junction with the A837 Invershin – Lochinver road and its junction with Achany wind farm access road.
The road closure is necessary to create a safe working area to allow for deep structural patching and overlays to single track sections of road with narrow/soft verges.
To avoid the road closure an alternative route will be available via the A837 Invershin – Lochinver Road, and the A836 Dornoch Bridge – Tongue – John O’ Groats Road.
