Venues Sought for Digital Doors Open Day

Venues in Moray are being asked to take part in a digital Doors Open Day in September.

It’s the one day a year doors are opened to the public to allow them a look inside some of the region’s most iconic and exciting buildings.

But, because of Coronavirus, it’s taking a digital turn this time. This will allow people to chance to see inside from the comfort of their own home, using a computer, smartphone or tablet.

Venues could consider making a virtual tour, which could be used as a marketing tool for them in the future.

There’s guidance on Moray Council’s website on different activities, with examples of organisations which have used different platforms to engage digitally.

If you’d like your venue to take part in #DigiDoorsOpen, email doorsopenday@moray.gov.uk by 10 July.
