Okay, hands up, I’m a fanboy.
I’m a huge Pink Floyd fan, and the UK Pink Floyd Experience is the real deal.
Did they deliver a show? Oh yes, they did.
It was one of the happiest days of our lives, and we were all comfortably numb listening to the music of The Floyd.
We had time and high hopes for the gig, and The UK Pink Floyd Experience did not disappoint.
On an August Tuesday evening in Inverness, all the cool kids (well, older cool kids) knew where to be.
That place was Eden Court Theatre for the UK Pink Floyd Experience.
The UK Pink Floyd Experience has been touring for years now and has established itself as the Pink Floyd tribute act to see.
It was a sell-out show last night, and the crowd soaked up every note, from Shine on You Crazy Diamond to the final chord of Comfortably Numb.
A standing ovation nearly brought the roof down, so strong was the audience’s appreciation for the level of talent on display.
Fantastic, amazing, superb, not to be missed, can’t wait to see them again, excellent, loved it—these were just some of the words floating around after the gig.
I bumped into Lesley and Gavin Forrest, who were there with their 14-year-old daughter, and they loved it.
They shed tears of joy because it was that good.
They had traveled from Keith and said it was worth every mile and penny.
In fact, they’re already watching Eden Court’s website for next year’s tickets.
Mark your calendars: UK Pink Floyd Experience, Eden Court Theatre, 2025.
You won’t be disappointed.
