Highland Council is encouraging young people to help shape their future by getting involved in The Highland Climate Change Conference 2021 over the holidays.

The conference, which is taking place online on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 October 2021, is a great opportunity for young people to learn more about the climate and ecological emergency.

They will hear how they can take action in Highland, and share their views at the associated workshops.

Chair of Highland Council’s Climate Change Working Group, Cllr Trish Robertson, said: “Young people are valuable contributors to climate action and the Highland Council recognises the creativity, values and energy of young people which are vital for continuing climate and ecological action in Highland.”
