Knockhill Racing Circuit, Scotlands National Motorsport Centre, is all prepped and ready for the arrival of the best Saloon Car Championship in the world, the KWIK FIT British Touring Cars this weekend.
20 of the best drivers racing door handle to door handle as they leap over Duffus Dip, charge through the Chicane on two wheels and are the last of the late brakers going into the hairpin!
20,000 are expected over three days to witness epic racing with Scotland’s Ronan Pearson and Aiden Moffat flying the flag for Scotland in the main races.
As well as three Touring Car races on Sunday, they will be qualifying Saturday with a new Super Six format to spice things, and there is a fabulous support package of Porsche Carrera Cup, Mini’s, British F4s and the Elite Cup for National Legends.
There will be giant screens, trade villages, Knockhill merchandise stand, Autograph sessions and so much more!Â
They are marking 60 years since Jim Clark won the same title with a feature marquee and track parades and have a chance for one lucky spectator to win a passenger ride in a £3 million GMA T50 fan car, driven by 3 times BTCC champion Gordon Shedden, via NAPA all in aid of Race Against Dementia.Â
Tickets can be pre-ordered on www.knockhill.com or they can purchased at the gates on each day and all parking is free and on site.Â
It is a special weekend of motorsport and one not to be missed.
