Choinnich pàrantan bhèibidhean is phàistean beaga o chionn ghoirid airson òrain Ghàidhlig a ghabhail is sgeulachdan a chluinntinn ann an Talla Bhaile Ùr an t-Slèibh.
Thuirt Cathraiche Comataidh Gàidhlig Chomhairle na Gàidhealtachd, an Comhairliche Calum Rothach:
“Tha a’ bhuidheann a’ faighinn taic bho Sgioba Gàidhlig Chomhairle na Gàidhealtachd agus Bòrd na Gàidhlig.
“Tha mi fìor thoilichte gu bheilear a’ toirt seachad taic gus leasachadh cànain a bhrosnachadh am measg phàrantan is chloinne.”
Bha buidheann air a bhith ann ro Covid-19 ach b’ ann Dihaoine a bha a’ chiad choinneamh aig a’ bhuidhinn ùir.
Tha Shona Chaimbeul, màthair às an sgìre, na ceannard-cluiche agus chaidh i fhèin tro Fhoghlam tron Ghàidhlig.
Thuirt ise:
“Bha mi fìor thoilichte leis na thàinig a-mach agus tha mi a’ coimhead air adhart ri bhith a’ coinneachadh ri pàrantan na sgìre gus cleasan spòrsail Gàidhlig a dhèanamh leis an fheadhainn bheaga.”

New Gaelic Toddler Group in Newtonmore
A new Gaelic Toddler group has started up in Newtonmore.
Parents of babies and toddlers met this week to enjoy some Gaelic songs and stories at the Newtonmore Village Hall.
Chair of Highland Council’s Gaelic Committee Cllr Calum Munro said:
“The group are supported by the Highland Council Gaelic Team and Bòrd na Gàidhlig.
“I am delighted that support is being provided to encourage Gaelic language development among parents and children.”
The group disbanded when Covid 19 struck and Friday was the first meeting up of the new group.
Local mum and playleader Shona Campbell, who went through Gaelic Medium Education herself, said:
“I was delighted at the turnout for the Gaelic group and look forward to meeting up with the local parents and enjoying lots of Gaelic activities together with our wee ones.”
