Corran Ferry Fares Set to Rise From 1 May

Corran Ferry fares will increase from Friday 1 May 2026 following approval by The Highland Council as part of its latest budget and financial plan.

The changes were agreed at a special council meeting on 5 March covering the Medium Term Financial Plan through to 2029.

Drivers will see the standard car fare rise by £1, increasing from £12 to £13 for private and light goods vehicles.

Minibuses and caravanettes will increase by £1.50, rising from £16.50 to £18.

Motorbike fares will go up by 50p, moving from £5.50 to £6.

The cost of a 30 journey ticket book will increase by £7.50 to £96, reflecting a per journey rise from £2.95 to £3.20.

Commercial vehicle charges will also rise, with articulated vehicles increasing by £5 to £62 and larger buses and coaches up £3 to £35.

The updated fares form part of wider council budget decisions affecting services across the Highlands.
