Glenmorangie Teases New Release With Hollywood Style Campaign

Glenmorangie has unveiled a cinematic teaser for a new release titled ‘Something Nice’, with anticipation building ahead of its public launch on 4 May.

The Highland whisky maker has taken a film inspired approach, releasing a poster styled like a major motion picture, complete with a silhouetted figure, a remote cabin and the unmistakable outline of a Glenmorangie bottle.

The campaign has already sparked speculation among fans about the identity of the figure and the story behind the release, with the brand leaning into a sense of mystery more often associated with cinema than whisky.

Early reactions have added to the momentum, with respected film critic Mark Kermode giving the release a five star review and describing it as “A distilled widescreen delight”.

Whisky writer Charles Maclean has also awarded five stars, saying “It deserves to win many awards.”

The poster itself has been created by Julien Rico Jr, known for his work on major film and television campaigns, reinforcing the crossover between whisky branding and cinematic storytelling.

While full details remain under wraps, the tone of the campaign suggests Glenmorangie is positioning this as more than a standard release, instead building it as an event.

Fans are being encouraged to sign up through the distillery’s membership platform to receive updates ahead of the official unveiling.

The approach reflects a growing trend within premium spirits, where storytelling, presentation and anticipation are becoming as important as the product itself.

With the Highlands as its backdrop and a cinematic lens shaping the narrative, Glenmorangie appears to be aiming for something that stands out in a crowded market.

Officially releasing to the public on 4th May, fans are invited to sign up at Glenmorangie.com/members to keep up to date with details of its premiere.
