An Inverness technology business has doubled its workforce from eight to 16 as it expands its services and begins a new chapter under the name Culture Business Technology.

Formerly Logical Print & Document Solutions, the independently owned Scottish company is headquartered in Inverness with a regional office in Aberdeen and serves customers across the Highlands and Islands, the North East and elsewhere in the UK.

The growth follows an expansion of the company’s Board, with Malcolm Maclennan and Josh McLennan joining existing directors Colin Smith, Robbie Cheyne and Neil Anderson.

New supplier partnerships and investment in technology have also allowed the business to expand beyond its traditional print and document services into managed IT, cybersecurity and telephony.

Managed print remains a central part of the company, with further investment in technical support increasing its locally based service team in the North of Scotland.

The change of name reflects that broader range of services rather than a departure from the business Logical has built.

Further investment is planned in Inverness, with the company working towards new premises and expecting a possible move towards the end of 2026 or early 2027, subject to the plans being completed.

The company’s managed IT, cybersecurity, telephony and managed print operations will now sit together under the Culture Business Technology identity, accompanied by new branding and a new website.

The expansion gives Inverness another growing technology employer at a time when businesses are becoming increasingly dependent on IT infrastructure, digital security and reliable communications.
