The Highland Council has unveiled its revamped Invest Highland website, aiming to spotlight the region’s vast investment potential and draw top talent to the area.
Invest Highland, backed by the Highland Council, is committed to positioning the Highlands as an ideal destination for businesses, global investors, skilled professionals, and visitors.
Councillor Ken Gowans, Chair of the Economy and Infrastructure Committee, hailed the relaunch as a significant step reflecting the Highlands’ growing economic appeal.
“The new Invest Highland platform showcases the scale of opportunities we’re fostering now and for the future,” he said, adding that interest from UK and international stakeholders has never been higher.
The redesigned website offers a comprehensive resource for businesses and individuals eager to explore what the Highlands have to offer.
From the region’s Green Freeport initiative to its thriving creative industries, the platform caters to corporations eyeing large-scale investments and individuals seeking fresh career opportunities.
The launch coincides with Scottish Cities Week in London, running from 20-23 January 2023, a key event for engaging investors and developers.
This year, the Highlands will have a strong presence at the event, with the Council collaborating closely with Highlands and Islands Enterprise and Inverness and Cromarty Firth Green Freeport CEO Calum Macpherson.
By leveraging the ‘Team Scotland’ approach, the initiative underscores the importance of partnership between public agencies and private enterprises.
Invest Highland also has a new LinkedIn page, providing a regular stream of updates on developments and opportunities in the region.
