Isuzu Powers On With Tough Mudder Partnership Into 2025

Isuzu UK has extended its partnership with Tough Mudder for another year, ensuring its rugged D-Max pick-ups will remain a familiar sight at the country’s muddiest endurance events.

Now entering its seventh consecutive year as Official Automotive Partner, Isuzu UK will once again put the D-Max through its paces at every UK Tough Mudder in 2025.

The partnership began in 2019 and has grown steadily, with both brands championing values of resilience, teamwork and strength.

A highlight of the sponsorship is Isuzu’s backing of the infamous Mud Mile obstacle, a leg-sapping trench filled with thick, clinging mud that challenges even the fittest competitors.

For Isuzu, it is a natural match.

The D-Max is built to thrive in tough conditions, with a 3.5-tonne towing capacity, a one-tonne payload and proven off-road prowess.

It is more than capable of handling the same terrain as the athletes, while also supporting the event’s logistics and set-up.

Throughout the season, three branded D-Max pick-ups will be deployed across all UK Tough Mudder events, transporting heavy equipment and navigating some of the most uneven, slippery ground imaginable.

The 2025 calendar includes several standout fixtures.

The action kicks off in May at Culden Faw Estate near London, followed by a Scottish event at the Hopetoun Estate in June.

The legendary World’s Toughest Mudder returns to Belvoir Castle later that month, with further stops in the Midlands, Yorkshire, the South West and London South as the year unfolds.

Thousands of participants are expected to take part, with Isuzu’s presence helping ensure every event runs like clockwork.

George Wallis, Head of Marketing at Isuzu UK, said:

“We are absolutely thrilled to be continuing our partnership with Tough Mudder into 2025.

“The D-Max lives and breathes a ‘Driven To Do’ spirit, and Tough Mudder is the perfect showcase for that.

“Whether it is hauling gear through mud or powering through the trails at Belvoir Castle, the D-Max is always ready to rise to the challenge.”

Mark Read, Commercial Director at Tough Mudder, added:

“We are delighted to extend our long-standing relationship with Isuzu UK.

“The D-Max has become part of the Tough Mudder DNA.

“It supports our events while embodying the resilience, strength and endurance that define what we do.

“Together, we continue to push boundaries and aim higher every year.”
