Jamie Stone Elected for Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross

Jamie Stone – Scottish Liberal Democrats has been elected as the Member of Parliament for the Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross constituency at the UK Parliamentary general election held on 4 July 2024.

The election count was held overnight at the Highland Football Academy in Dingwall.

The results declared by Derek Brown, Returning Officer are:

  • Lucy BEATTIE – Scottish National Party (SNP) – 12,247 votes
  • Steve CHISHOLM – Alba Party: Yes to Scottish Independence – 795 votes
  • Fiona FAWCETT – Scottish Conservative and Unionist – 1,860 votes
  • Eva KESTNER – Scottish Labour Party – 3,409 votes
  • Sandra SKINNER –  Reform UK – 3,360 votes
  • Jamie STONE – Scottish Liberal Democrats – 22,736 votes
  • Anne THOMAS – Scottish Greens – 1,641 votes

The total number of votes cast across Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross constituency was 46,170.

A total of 122 ballot papers were rejected.
