A man has died following a serious road crash involving four vehicles on the A82 at Glen Gloy.
Emergency services were called to the scene around midday on Monday 6 July after reports of a collision involving a lorry, a Hyundai i10, a Range Rover Sport and a Skoda Karoq.
Police Scotland confirmed the 63-year-old driver of the Range Rover Sport was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 62-year-old woman who was travelling in the vehicle was airlifted to hospital for treatment.
His family has been informed.
The driver of the lorry, a 42-year-old man, along with the 19-year-old male driver and 21-year-old female passenger of the Hyundai i10, and the 70-year-old female driver of the Skoda Karoq did not require hospital treatment.
The A82 remained closed for several hours while specialist collision investigators examined the scene.
Road policing officers are continuing enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the collision and are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.
Sergeant Ewan Calder said:
“Our thoughts are with the family of the man who lost his life.
“Our enquiries into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing and I would appeal to anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the collision to contact us.
“If you have dash cam, please check your footage for any images which could assist our ongoing enquiries.”

The A82 is one of the Highlands’ busiest trunk roads, linking communities across Lochaber with Fort William, Inverness and the Central Belt.
