A new café overlooking Loch Linnhe and Castle Stalker has opened on the Argyll coast, bringing fresh life to a well known stop between Ballachulish and Connel.

The Linnhe Storehouse and Café is now welcoming visitors seven days a week, led by the award winning team behind The Pierhouse Hotel.
The site offers indoor and outdoor seating with panoramic views across Loch Linnhe towards Castle Stalker, Sgeir Bhuidhe Lighthouse, Mull, Lismore and the Ardnamurchan peninsula.

The café serves a daytime menu built around home baking, seasonal soups, sandwiches and cooked breakfasts, alongside a rotating selection of cakes and pastries.
Local suppliers include Letterfindlay Foods in Fort William, Ardfern Black Pudding, Argyll Bakeries in Campbeltown and We Love Coffee in Glasgow.
The location is expected to attract visitors travelling along the A828 as well as those exploring the area on foot, by cycle or by kayak.

A small retail space also offers Scottish and locally sourced products alongside essentials for nearby communities including Appin, Oban and Fort William.
The opening has created 10 new full time and part time roles in hospitality and retail.
