A new Starbucks Drive Thru store will open on Ivanhoe Avenue, Inverness on Friday 14 August.
Operated by Starbucks licensee OCO Westend, the store will create 16 new jobs for the local area.
Customers are invited to visit the store to enjoy one of the new Summer Frappuccinos available, including Peanut Butter Cup and Chocolate Marshmallow S’mores.
Ahead of opening, the store is running a competition on the store’s Facebook page, giving one lucky customer the chance to win a Starbucks Rewards card to use in store.
The store team has selected local charity Inverness Foodstuff as its charity partner.
Inverness Foodstuff was founded in 2014 to help alleviate hunger and social isolation in the Inverness area.
In addition to providing food for those in need, the charity offers people access to online facilities, assistance in CV writing, and connects people with important services including healthcare.
Starbucks values building strong and lasting relationships within local store communities through partnerships with local charities, community groups and residents.
David Chisholm, Starbucks Inverness Drive Thru Manager, said:
“We look forward to welcoming customers to our new store in Inverness.
“We are proud to support Inverness Foodstuff, which is a charity close to our hearts and works to help alleviate hunger and social isolation in the Inverness area.”
