Royal Enfield has been recognised as the world’s third strongest automotive brand in the latest Brand Finance Automotive Industry 2026 report.
The motorcycle manufacturer achieved a Brand Strength Index score of 88.9 out of 100 with an AAA rating while recording a reported 30 percent increase in brand value to USD 1.2 billion.
The recognition places Royal Enfield among the world’s strongest automotive names and marks another major milestone for the company as it continues expanding globally.
Royal Enfield describes itself as the global leader in the mid size motorcycle segment covering machines between 250cc and 750cc.
The company is also the oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production with a history stretching back 125 years.
Today the brand operates in more than 80 countries with over 3,200 retail stores worldwide alongside seven international assembly facilities.
Royal Enfield said its continued growth has been driven by strong global communities and what it describes as a philosophy centred around “Pure Motorcycling”.
The company’s motorcycle range now covers heritage, cruiser, roadster, adventure and sport categories.
Recent years have also seen the brand expand into electric mobility with the launch of Flying Flea, its new electric motorcycle project, including the Flying Flea C6.
Royal Enfield also highlighted strong recent performance in customer quality and dealer satisfaction studies.
The company said it ranked highest in overall two wheeler initial quality in the J.D. Power 2025 study and secured first place in the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations Dealer Satisfaction Survey.
Royal Enfield has continued to grow its presence internationally with particularly strong markets across Europe, Asia, Australia and South America.
The brand has also seen rising popularity in the UK where its mix of classic styling, accessible pricing and simpler approach to motorcycling has attracted a growing audience.
