Winners will be announced on 11 June during a ceremony at the Radisson Blu Hotel Glasgow hosted by broadcaster Sally Magnusson.

The awards cover nine categories recognising work ranging from environmental campaigns and community partnerships to volunteering, social impact and charity leadership.

Buglife, Victim Support Scotland, Who Cares? Scotland and Scottish Environment LINK are among those shortlisted for Campaign of the Year.

Volunteer of the Year finalists include Jim Cassidy from Men Matter Scotland, David Wright from Govan Housing Association, McKenzie Rayner from Midlothian Community Action and Jenny Black from Fife Pride.

Chief Executive of SCVO, Anna Fowlie, praised the impact of Scotland’s voluntary sector.

“Across Scotland and beyond, voluntary organisations are making an extraordinary difference, and the breadth and depth of their impact never fail to inspire.

“Our voluntary sector is truly essential to Scottish society and we see the positive impact organisations and individuals make in communities across the country every single day.

“Best of luck to all of our finalists, and I look forward to celebrating with them in June as we highlight the phenomenal work each and every one of them contributes to.”

The Scottish Charity Awards have become one of the biggest annual celebrations of Scotland’s third sector with organisations from every part of the country recognised for their work supporting communities, tackling inequality and improving lives.
