Skerryvore Set for Highland Return After Inverness Sell Out

Skerryvore are heading back to Inverness after selling out their previous Highland concert in record time.

The acclaimed Scottish band will perform at Inverness Leisure Centre on Friday 4 December 2026 as part of their Beautiful Mistakes tour.

For more than two decades, Skerryvore have built a reputation as one of Scotland’s most exciting live acts, blending traditional music with contemporary rock influences to create a sound that has won fans around the world.

Formed on the Isle of Tiree in 2005, the eight piece outfit have progressed from playing village halls and west coast venues to performing at festivals and concerts across Europe, North America and Australia.

Their energetic performances have helped them earn the title of Scotland’s Live Act of the Year on four occasions.

The Inverness date forms part of the band’s latest tour supporting their album Beautiful Mistakes, which was produced by Jamie Squire, known to many as the unofficial “fifth member” of The 1975.

The album captures the warmth, musicianship and spirit that have become hallmarks of Skerryvore’s music and live performances.

Combining bagpipes, fiddles, accordions and whistles with guitars, drums, keyboards and powerful vocals, the band continue to attract audiences well beyond the traditional music scene.

Songs such as Take My HandYou & I and Live Forever have become favourites among fans and are regular highlights of their concerts.

Claire Kidger of LCC Live said organisers were delighted to welcome the band back to the Highlands.

“We’re honoured to have Skerryvore back in the Highlands after selling out last December in a matter of weeks.

“The crowd at Inverness Leisure last year brought so much energy, as did Skerryvore themselves, if it’s anything like previous, this will be a night filled with lots of dancing and singing along.

“It was a spectacular show and we’re already anticipating a high demand for tickets!”

With Skerryvore’s popularity continuing to grow and memories of last year’s sold out show still fresh, organisers expect strong demand once again for what promises to be another memorable Highland homecoming.

Tickets are on sale now through Ticketline and are also available in person from Caffery’s Menswear in the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness.
