Skye Restaurant and Distillery Launch Exclusive Dining Experience

A Michelin recognised Skye restaurant and the island’s oldest distillery have joined forces to launch a new series of intimate dining events celebrating food, whisky and place.

The Three Chimneys and Talisker Distillery will host the ‘Distillers Table Experience’ on 9 May, 13 June and 4 July 2026.

The collaboration builds on the success of their 2024 pop up, with both now pushing further into what is becoming a defining idea on Skye, the blending of world class food with distillery experience.

Each evening is limited to just 16 guests, designed to create something more personal than a typical dining event.

The experience begins at 4.45pm with a welcome cocktail before guests are taken on a guided tour of the distillery, offering a closer look at the craft and history behind one of Scotland’s most recognisable whiskies.

From there, the evening moves into the Cask Draw Room for a curated whisky tasting before finishing with a multi course dinner overlooking Loch Harport.

The menu is built around seasonal local produce, with each course introduced by head chef Paul Green and his team, bringing a direct connection between kitchen, landscape and plate.

Since opening, The Three Chimneys at Talisker has quickly established itself as a destination in its own right, earning a place in the Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland earlier this year.

That recognition places it alongside the original Three Chimneys at Loch Dunvegan, long regarded as one of Scotland’s most influential restaurants.

The setting plays its part, with the Minginish peninsula and the surrounding coastline shaping both the atmosphere and the flavours.

Dishes are designed to complement Talisker’s maritime character, drawing on notes of smoke, peat, salt and spice that reflect the island itself.

The collaboration has already drawn international attention, with Whisky Magazine describing it as a model others should follow, while Lonely Planet has named Skye among Europe’s leading food destinations.

Tickets for the Distillers Table Experience are priced at £225 per person, including the cocktail, tour, whisky tasting and dinner, with an optional wine pairing available.

Places are limited and demand is expected to be strong, reflecting the continued rise of Skye as a destination where food, drink and landscape come together in a way few places can match.
