Something special is building in Dornoch this summer as the countdown begins to the Dornoch Music Festival on 17 and 18 July.
The festival is shaping up to be one of the biggest live music weekends the Highlands has seen in years with thousands expected to head north for two packed days of music, atmosphere and summer energy.
Headliners include The Hoosiers and The Tumbling Paddies alongside a growing line up featuring artists from across Scotland and beyond.
Acts appearing across the weekend include Tide Lines, Wrest, Glasville, Harleymoon Kemp, Erin Ponsonby, Martin Bannon and Lucy Tay.
Festival goers will also see performances from Beat The Drum, The Wellerman, Scooty And The Skyhooks, Brittle and Bad Actress.
Organisers say momentum around the festival continues to grow as ticket sales build ahead of the summer.
The event is aiming to deliver a major Highland weekend combining live music, food, beer, camping and family entertainment in the heart of Dornoch.
For many, the festival also represents something bigger with a growing belief that the Highlands can host major destination events capable of attracting visitors from across Scotland and beyond.
