Drivers on the A9 between Tomatin and Moy will face temporary traffic signals and a lane closure from Tuesday 5 May as works are carried out on the carriageway.
The measures will be in place from 7:30am on Tuesday 5 May until 5am on Thursday 7 May, covering a 140 metre section around 100 metres north of the temporary roundabout at Invereen.
The works are required to allow duct crossing operations beneath the A9 carriageway.
Temporary traffic signals will operate continuously over the two day period to allow crews to carry out the work safely alongside live traffic.
The signals will be manually controlled throughout to help manage traffic flow and reduce disruption.
Short delays are expected, with drivers advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys.
Access for pedestrians and emergency services will be maintained at all times, and there will be no impact on National Cycle Network Route 7.
The schedule may be subject to change depending on weather conditions.
